Our Story

SGGT Hydraulik GmbH was founded in 2001. The owners, Michael Kohler and Gregor Przybylla, have been with the company ever since.

Today, their customers include leading companies in the hot forming industry, as well as mechanical engineering companies and energy suppliers. They operate more than 300 plants. SGGT has a worldwide presence with agencies and representative offices.

Some technical milestones prove the innovative strength:

• Utility model on automated vertical descaling of forged parts.
• Patent on hydraulically controlled nozzle valves
• World's first descaling plant for heavy plate with a pressure of 320 bar along with a flow rate of 12,000 l/min
• First automated vertical descaling of forgings weighing more than 10 t
• Microline descaling systems for inductively heated forgings
• Integration of conveyor technology and parts handling into the descaling process
